In the app
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account and confirm. This is the fastest path once the option is live in your build.
By email
Send an email to support@bytwatch.io from the address your account uses, with the subject "Delete my account." This works whether or not the in-app option has reached your build yet, and always will.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile and sign-in link
- Your watchlist (Watch, Forge, Board searches you've saved)
- Your PaperRun configurations and simulation history
- Notification preferences and saved filters
What may be retained
A minimal record required for legal, security, or billing audit purposes may be retained for a limited period after deletion, as described in our Privacy Policy. This never includes your watchlist contents or PaperRun history.
Timeline
We process verified deletion requests within 30 days.
Deleting your Bytwatch account does not affect the public, on-chain data of any wallet you were watching. Bytwatch doesn't own, control, or have the ability to alter blockchain records — deleting your account only removes what Bytwatch itself stored about you.
